How much does the club cost?
Nothing, apart from entrance to galleries/cinema/theatre.

But I know nothing about art. Will I stand out?
Please don't worry. You'll be fine. There's a range of art knowledge in the group. Just come along, and see what you think. I believe that art should be enjoyed by everyone, and I keep things unpretentious.

Is it ok if I come by myself to an event?
Sure, it's fine. No problem at all. Most people come by themselves, although people do quickly get to know people in the group.

Is it ok if bring a friend to an event?
Again, sure, it's fine. No problem at all. We do prefer it if you get them to sign up to the mailing list.

What is and where is the club?
It's a virtual club, at the moment. We just meet up for arty events. Drop us a line if you want to know more about it.

Who set up the club?
I'm James, and I set the club up. I'm from Derby, which is a small city in the midlands. Although I do know quite a lot people in London, I reached an age where friends where starting to move away or settle down. I found that London is not an easy place to meet new people. Also I realised that there were loads of events going on which I would love to go to. I also found it very hard to drag people to galleries and theatre as people either just wanted to go to the pub or were booked up weeks in advance. I've really enjoyed meeting a massive range of people that I would not normally have met.

When and why was the club set up?
It set up the club in June 2005. It was set up to help people meet more people in London and get to more events. Even with a big set of friends in London it can be difficult to find people to go to specific events with as people are so busy or just not interested in arty events. It is very easy not to do anything in London, apart from get drunk. In addition it is easy just to hang around with people from school/uni and work. The great thing about the club is there is a range of people outside these groups to meet. It has a range of nationalities, and loads of English people as well.
I've signed up to an event and I don't know what to do.
You should get a mail with the phone number of the person organising the event. Also, a few days before we will email you with full details about the event. If you've not get any info a couple of days before the event, give us an email and we'll sort it out.

Can I suggest an event?
Yes, please do. The club works best when people let me know what great things are going on. London has so much stuff going on at any one time, it's easy to miss events. Please send me a message from the website.

Can I organise an event?
Basically, yes. Drop us email and let us know what you want to do.

What is the range of ages in the group?
The range of ages is mostly 20s and 30s, with a few people who are older.
